How to Make PanCake for Breakfast

 Hello Omoge, fine lady, how are you? Today I want to share with you how to make that delicious pancake for breakfast.

Pancake is a flat cake that is thin and round, made from milk, eggs, butter, and cooked on frying pan with oil. 

There are lots of health benefits from eating pancakes for breakfast. The health benefits include; 

1. Source of Sodium, vitamins, and minerals for healthy bone and teeth

2. Source of energy as it contains sugar and other caloric contents.

3. Source of Iron for oxygenating tissues to produce fuel required by the body.

Pancake is one of my favorite snacks because it tastes good in my mouth. There are different types of pancakes around the world. 

There are the buttermilk pancake, potato pancakes, and other types. There are also different shapes and sizes based on your country and location. 

In Africa for example, there is Injera in Ethiopia, made of teff flour. In Uganda, pancakes made from bananas are delicious meals for breakfast.

There are different ways of making delicious pancakes around the world. The purpose of this post is to show you how to bake round, flat pancakes. 

Before going through the method step by step, let's look at the main ingredients used. They include;

1. Two cups (300g) of all-purpose or plain flour.

2. Four medium-sized eggs.

3. Three teaspoons of baking powder or whipped egg whites.

4. One to two glass cups of milk.

5. Four to five tablespoons of sugar.

6. Half teaspoon of salt.

7. 100g to 150g of butter.

8. One cup of water.

9. Vegetable Oil.

10. One teaspoon of grounded pepper. This is optional if you are someone that does not like the sensation of pepper.

The following steps show you how to make delicious pancakes for breakfast.

1. Put the butter on the frying pan and melt it by applying medium heat. You can use a gas cooker or stove, but I prefer using a gas cooker because it is easier to regulate the heat.

2. Add the flour, milk, salt, baking powder, sugar, and a half cup of water. Mix very well using a spoon or spatula till there are no lumps in it.

3. Mix very well the melted butter, eggs, and another half cup of water till it looks smooth. Pour the mixture inside the mixed flour and mix together. Make sure you mix very well to form the pancake.

4. Place your frying pan over medium heat and add few drops of vegetable oil on the surface of the frying pan. When the frying pan is hot, add a tablespoon of pancake and allow it to fry for about one minute. When frying, turn each side of the pancake until it becomes golden brown. 

5. Take the pancake off the frying pan and serve with orange or pineapple juice for breakfast. 

I like to spread natural honey on top of my pancakes for breakfast as it makes it so yummy. I also like to do lots of exercises to burn out some fats before breakfast.
